Platform Credit Points (CP)
Understand what Platform Credit Points are, how they are generated, consumed, and managed in your wallet.
Purpose
Platform Credit Points (CP) are the internal unit used to pay for services on the platform. Instead of paying for each individual service request, users purchase CP and services deduct the required number of Credit Points from the available balance.
What are Platform Credit Points?
Not a Currency
CP is an internal platform credit utility and is not a fiat currency. It has no direct cash value.
Eligible Services
CP can only be used to pay for eligible API and geocoding services offered on this platform.
Flexible Rates
The CP required by each service is published separately and may vary or change over time.
Credit Sources
| Source Type | Description |
|---|---|
| One-Time Purchased CP | Credits purchased manually on-demand using a supported payment method. |
| Subscription CP | Credits added automatically each month through a recurring monthly subscription recharge. |
| AutoPay CP | Credits purchased automatically when your available CP balance drops below your configured threshold. |
| Bonus / Promotional CP | Credits awarded through promotional campaigns, user referrals or other platform offers. |
How CP is Used
- Services deduct CP automatically when a request is successfully processed.
- First-In, First-Out (FIFO): The oldest eligible purchased CP is normally consumed first.
- Bonus or promotional CP may follow separate consumption or expiration rules where applicable.
Available Balance
- Your account dashboard displays the currently available CP balance clearly.
- Purchased, subscription, AutoPay, and promotional CP balances may be presented separately where appropriate.
- A service request can only be completed if sufficient eligible CP is available in your account.
